Graham Corbin and Zachary Lawter started the day tied for the lead after they finished yesterday at one under par. Corbin was too hot handle as his three birdies bested his buddy by three shots. His four under 68 gave him the victory over Lawter and his name on the perpetual trophy.
The Girls 10-12 had the Castle sisters one stroke apart with Jensen (West Columbia) having the overnight lead. Younger sister, Jalen, bested her sister by two with a 38 total to win by one. The neatest shot of the tournament came from Alyssa Campbell after her tee shot of the par four 4th hole rattled in the trees. After a member bounce, a second shot with a three wood found the hole for eagle.
The younger 8-9 bracket was as competitive as always. Two players with the same first name finished on top with Zach Adams of Rock Hill earning the title with a 75 total. Zach Phillips finished second from Inman after a one over 37 gave him 77 for two days. The girls 8-9 bracket was very close as Isabella Rawl took the overall honors after her two total was 96, just two shots clear of Abby Franks.
