PENDLETON, SC (Sept. 11, 2022) – Final round results of the 15th Annual Harvey Brock Orange Jacket Classic hosted by Boscobel Golf Club in Pendleton, SC on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

In the boys 13-18 division, Bennett Scaletta of Belton was crowned Champion in the second playoff hole. Scaletta posted a final round score of four-under par 67 and finished the tournament at five-under par 137 overall.

“The final round was really good.” said Scaletta. “I had a lot of good putts and my putter got really hot on the back nine. I had never been in a playoff position like this, so making my putt in the second playoff hole is really cool. It feels really good to win and it gives me a lot a confidence to know that I can play with all these other really good players.”

Gabe Schmitz of Okatie was named runner-up in the boys division posting a final round score of five-under par 66 and 137 overall.

In the girls 13-18 division, Mia Carles of Clinton finished the tournament with an overall score of two-over par 144 to claim the title.

“Today was a pretty good day,” said Carles. “Yesterday was obviously a better day, but today was still pretty good. I had my first hole-in-one yesterday on my first hole of the day, so I think that gave me some momentum and started things off strong. It feels great to be the champion, I learned a lot this weekend and know this win is going to help my future.”

Bridget Wilkie of Bluffton and Olivia Ireland of Inman each posted an overall score of five-over par 147 to tie for second place in the girls division.

In the boys 12 and under division, Jack Coleman of Aiken finished the tournament with an overall score of four-under par 67 to claim the victory. Coleman posted a final round score of even-par 35.

Woods Weston of Columbia was named runner-up in this division, carding an overall score of one-under par 70.

AC Peake of Pauline took home first place in the girls 12 and under division, finishing the day with a final round score of two-over par 37. Overall, she posted six-over par 77 for the tournament.

Gracyn Cox of Aynor was named runner-up in this division, carding an overall score of 23-over par 94.
