Andrew Gregory of Inman outlasted the rest of the field to claim this year’s Cheraw Fall Challenge. Gregory was the only player in the field to finish in red numbers for the tournament with an impressive final round of six-under par 66. With this win Gregory now has three SCJGA majors in 2022.
“I was hitting a lot of fairways today,” said Gregory. “I hit driver really well and put myself in good positions on the greens and putts started falling. My driver has helped me put the ball in good spots to win on three different golf courses. I’m looking forward to playing in the Players Championship in Hartsville!”
Richard Anaclerio of Aiken, DJ Belcher of Simpsonville, Jay Smith of Florence, Connor Williams of Spartanburg and Luke Walmet of Mount Pleasant all tied second with a one-over par 145.
