Entering the day one-shot behind the first-round leader, Dallas Johnson of Mount Pleasant shot three-under par 68 to secure victory in the boys 13-18 division. Johnson finished the tournament at three-under par 139 overall.

“I really didn’t hit the ball great today,” Johnson said. “I didn’t hit many greens, but I got up and down a lot. When I didn’t hit greens, I made most of my putts, so I was able to make a lot of birdies. It feels good to be the champion. This is my first big win in the 13-18 age group, so it feels great. This gives me a lot of confidence moving forward because now I know I am capable of winning.”

Aiken Golightly of Rock Hill captured second place in this division, carding a final round of one-under par 70 and a tournament total of one-under par 141.

Caroline Hawkins of Columbia brought home the title in the girls 13-18 division with a tournament total of four-under par 138. She finished the final round at two-under par 69.

“I started off pretty rocky today,” said Hawkins. “But ended up making par on the first hole. Towards the middle it was lights out. My putter was on, and this is the best chipping I have had in a tournament. It feels so amazing to grab this win. I was able to hold on to the first place position this weekend and it feels so good. I think this win really boosts my confidence, but I am always going to try and stay humble and just keep playing my game.”

Emily Baker of Chapin fired an impressive final round of seven-under 64 to not only secure runner-up, but also set the new Orange Jacket Classic 18 hole round record in the girls 13-18 division. Overall, she finished the tournament at three-under par 139.

Hunter Hylton of Hilton Head made par on the first playoff hole to be crowned champion of the boys 12 and under division. Overall, he finished the tournament at even-par 71.

Brennan Kelly of Florence captured runner-up in this division finishing with a two-day total of even-par 71.

In the girls 12 and under division, Kinley Brazell of Blythewood shot eight-over par 43 to claim first place. She entered the day with a two-shot lead and finished with an overall 17-over par 88 for the tournament.
