FOUNTAIN INN, SC (Aug.15, 2021) – Seven champions were crowned on Sunday at the Thomas D. Todd All Stars Championship hosted by Carolina Springs Golf Club following a day of fantastic scoring in all age divisions.

Spence Hagood of the Piedmont Chapter took home the boys 15-18 division and overall Boys championship with a two-under par 70 in Sunday’s final round, bringing his tournament total to six-under par 138. 

Cam Baker of the York Chapter took home runner-up honors with a total of two-under par 142.

Gage Gaskins of the Tri-County Chapter capitalized on his overnight lead to take the boys 13-14 title by two strokes over runner-up Luke Johnson of the Aiken Chapter. Gaskins posted a score of four-over par 76 today for a total of seven-over par 151 on the weekend.

The girls 13-18 division saw the biggest comeback of the tournament, with Alexis Hodge of the Tri-County Chapter erasing a seven-stroke deficit after round one to claim her first SCJGA title. Hodge carded a three-over par 75 to win by two strokes. 

Vivian Harris of the York County Chapter took second place after holding the overnight lead.

The lone playoff of the day took place in the boys 7-9 age bracket, with Cullen Beck of the Greenville Chapter making an eagle on the second playoff hole to claim his first SCJGA championship. 

Tucker Goff of Aiken would take runner-up honors as the tandem finished regulation at even-par 72.

A tight finish was surely in the cards in the boys 10-12 age group, and it came to fruition as Matthew Roff of the Tri-County Chapter posted one-under par 71 for the tournament. Roff made birdie on his final hole to take home the title by a single stroke over second-place finisher Brennan Kelly of the Greenville Chapter, who carded a three-under par 33 on Sunday to post a total of 72.

Mia Carles of the Piedmont Chapter brought a commanding six-stroke lead into Sunday and protected it all day in the girls 10-12 division, posting a seven-over par 79 to take the title by fifteen shots over runner-up Adysen Langdale of the Tri-County Chapter.

Chloe Crosby of the Spartanburg Chapter brought home the trophy in the girls 7-9 age division in a tightly contested battle with Lillian Temples of the Piedmont Chapter. At the end of Sunday’s final round, Crosby finished with a three-stroke advantage.
