Taylors, SC— Fall weather finally arrived just in time for the 24th Tradition Four-Ball as the twenty-six teams were greeted with temperatures in the 60s and a light mist for most of the morning.
The breeze and rain resulted in Pebble Creek Country Club being an immense challenge, as the champion team of Andrew Propes and Oliver Rotermund would be the only team to shoot under par in the field. Making a bogey on their first hole, the duo would bounce back with three birdies and 14 pars to post a 2-under 70 and take the win by two strokes.
A three-way tie would follow behind Propes and Rotermund for second place at even par between Colman Ferguson/Harris Holstein, Major Lenning/Tip Price and Matthew Hutto/Eric Nord. A sincere appreciation is extended to Pebble Creek Country Club and South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation Chairman, Rick Vieth for not only being the Tournament Chairman for the event, but his continuous support of junior golf.
