Caroline Donovan stands with Jay Haas at the 2013 Blade Junior Golf Classic
The 15th annual Blade Jr Golf tournament has just finished round 1 with great golf being played by all the juniors in great weather. The tournament kicked off with the Night of Courage fundraiser for Camp Courage and followed by the BK Bryan Jr-Am. The highlight of the event has been Caroline Donovan, our Spirit of Courage winner . Caroline moved the crowd of 350 juniors and parents with Her testimony of faith and courage in dealing with serious health issues. As we near the conclusion on this years event I want to thank the membership of Thornblade Club for allowing us to have the tournament, golf course superintendent Randy Long for an awesome conditioned course! Thanks to all the kind and generous people who made our Night of Courage benefitting Camp Courage and Greenville Children’s Hospital and the BK Bryan Jr-Am a huge success by allowing The Blade to donate over a $110,000 to charity!
