Thank you for being a vital part of the SCJGA and making junior golf a fun sport. Please help us by:
Staying on the cart path or woods/rough line to stay out of player’s way
Stay in front of play to assist as forecaddies
Do not offer any rulings as the player will be held responsible
Help us by making sure your group stays right behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you- pace is our number one issue and all help is needed.
Please silence all cell phones and be respective of every player in the group
You (and your player) are not good enough to get mad at any shot- be supportive and positive at all times! If you have a player “lose it” don’t wait on a rules official to correct that behavior- you are the parent, not us
We are guests of the course and please make sure we leave it in better shape when we leave.
Parents providing advice or not following these guidelines will be asked to leave the course.
Golf is a game of lifetime and many lessons can be learned. Please help us to make sure the lessons learned are all positive and this round does not take a lifetime…….
