Greenwood, SC – The field of almost 60 young players completed the final round of the 12th Annual SCJGA Pee Wee Championship. Trevor Phillips held on to his first round lead of 33 and followed with a five under par 31, for a two day total of 64. Runner up Coleman Self fired the tournaments lowest round of six under par 30 for his total of 68. Lauren Stephenson captured the girls title after she followed her first round 34, with a closing round of even par 36. Savannah Goodman of Easley came home in second place. There are also younger brackets competing as well as there are separate division for the 8 and 9 year olds. The boy?s had Trent Phillips staying atop the leaderboard while Jensen Castle held on to the lead in the girl?s division. Greenwood Country Club has hosted the event since inception and their members have been tremendous supporters of junior golf.. Pediatric Dentistry of Greenwood, C.E. Bourne and Company, and the Greenwood Regional Tourism and Visitors Bureau have all come together to sponsor the event.
