Jack Crousore of Bluffton and Bennett Scaletta of Belton each finished the day with an overall score of four-under par 206 to be forced into a playoff for the 72nd Grant Bennett Florence Junior Invitational overall champion title. Jack Crousore made birdie on the first playoff hole to be crowned champion and claim his first SCJGA major victory.

“It was solid all day,” Crousore said. “Three birdies one bogey, I hit the ball solid all day and didn’t make any big mistakes. I was in the moment going into the playoff. I hit a good tee shot and it was green light from there heading to the green. It feels good to be the champion, I’m really excited about this one.”

Bennett Scaletta of Belton was named runner-up, carding an impressive final round score of three-under par 67.

In the boys 12 and under division, Connor Wolfe of Blythewood fired an impressive overall score eight-under par 98 to claim the back-to-back champion title in this division.

“I started out great today with a long putt on one,” Wolfe said. “I chipped in for par on nine to end the tournament which was a pretty big moment for me. It feels great to be the champion. I continued the streak from the 7-9 division, so this is four in a row. This feels awesome because I love this golf course, and this is such a cool tournament.”

Davis Peevy of Charleston and Woods Weston of Columbia each finished the tournament with an overall score of one-under par 105 to tie for second place in the boys 12 and under division.
