HILTON HEAD, SC (Feb. 4, 2024) – Final round results of the 33rd Sea Pines Junior Heritage hosted by Sea Pines - Atlantic Dunes and Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, SC, on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
 

Today at Harbour Town Golf Links, Phillip Dunham of Ponte Vedra, FL, posted a final round score of one-over par 72 to claim the title in the boys division. He had six birdies today and finished the tournament with an overall score of on-under par 144.

 

“Keeping the ball in play was very important,” Dunham said. “Just limiting mistakes and knowing where to be on the course was important. When there was a birdie opportunity, it was important to take advantage of it.”

 

In the boys division, Talan Harrison (Kannapolis, NC), Will Guthrie (Charlotte, NC), Daniel McBrien (Holly Springs, NC), and Giuseppe Puebla (Royal Palm Beach, FL) tied for second place all finishing with an overall score of eight-over par 151.

 

Bridget Wilkie of Bluffton, SC, finished the tournament with an overall score of eight-over par 151 to be crowned champion of the girls division. She had two birdies today and posted a final round score of five-over par 76 to take home the title.

 

“Today was such a grind, the wind was insane,” Wilkie said. “Trying to control my numbers was really important. I had a good front nine and I just tried to maintain that score on the back."

 

Emerson B. Dever of Durham, NC finished the tournament at twelve-over par 155 overall to take second place in the girls division.
