Dallas Johnson of Mount Pleasant, Dawson Szabo of Greer, and John Wylie Richardson of Florence each finished the day with an overall score of three-under-par 207 to be forced into a playoff for the 73rd Grant Bennett Florence Junior Invitational overall champion title. Dallas Johnson made par on the second playoff hole to be crowned champion. Johnson has now claimed the win of every age division in the Grant Bennett during his junior stent.

“I was just trying to go out there and hit greens,” Johnson said. “That's what we have to do out here, we have to hit greens and give yourself putts, and that's what I did today. I don't have many tournaments left, as I am going to college, so I'm going to see if I can win a few more. I just want to thank the Grant Bennett committee. They put on a great tournament every year.”

John Wylie Richardson of Florence was named runner-up after a scorecard playoff, carding an impressive final-round score of two-under-par 68.

Dawson Szabo of Greer took home third-place honors, posting a final-round score of two-over-par 72.
