COLUMBIA, SC (Oct. 4, 2021) – Final round results of the inaugural Fall Series hosted by The Spur at Northwoods on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

This weekend, 40 players competed in the SCJGA’s first-ever Fall Series hosted by The Spur at Northwoods in Columba, South Carolina. The Fall Series was created to provide junior golfers the opportunity to compete in state-wide, multiple round events to build experience and exposure. This weekend’s field was set on a first come, first served basis.

In the girls 13-18 division, Braelyn Oliver of Pageland carded nine-over par 81 in the final round take first place. Overall, she finished the tournament at 21-over par 165.

Annabel Carman of Summerville finished with an overall 23-over par 167 to take second place in the girl’s division and shot 13-over par 85 in the final round.

Matthew Baxley of Beech Island fired six birdies and posted a final round of five-under par 67 to be crowned champion of the boys 13-18 division. Overall, he finished the tournament with an impressive seven-under par 137.

Richard Anaclerio of Aiken took second place in this division carding two-over par 74 for the final round and one-over par 145 overall for the tournament.

The SCJGA would like to offer a special thanks to The Spur at Northwoods for their gracious hospitality as well as their commitment to growing the game of golf in South Carolina. The next Fall Series tournament will take place at The Fort Jackson Wildcat Golf Course on December 4-5, 2021.
