SEABROOK, SC (Aug.15, 2021) – Seven champions were crowned at Seabrook Island Club for the final round of the Tommy Cuthbert All Stars Championship on Sunday, August 15, 2021.

In the boys 7-9 division, Jack Semeraro of the Mt. Pleasant Chapter claimed victory posting a two-day total of even-par 72. Semeraro had two birdies on the back-nine today to finish at even-par 36 for the round.

Sims Bratton of the Florence Chapter took second in this division finishing the tournament at 17-over par 89.

In the girls 7-9 division, Cassie Peters of the Myrtle Beach Chapter took first place with an overall 17-over par 89. She shot 10-over par 46 for the final round.

Rosie Vroon of the Columbia Chapter posted 26-over par 98 to take second place in this division.

Kinley Brazell of the Columbia Chapter was crowned champion in the girls 10-12 division, finishing the tournament at 14-over par 86. For the final round, she carded seven-over par 43.

Catherine Gavin of the Hilton Head Chapter and Mary Katherine Dutcher of the Mid State Chapter tied for second place in this division, each finishing the tournament at 19-over par 91.

Connor Wolfe of the Columbia Chapter claimed the first-place title in the boys 10-12 division finishing the tournament with an impressive five-under 67. He had three birdies on the front-nine today, carding a final round of three-under par 33.

Campbell McLain of the Myrtle Beach Chapter took second place in this division with an overall score of even-par 72.

Akiera Sanchez of the Mt. Pleasant Chapter posted an overall score of seven-over par 115 to be named champion of the girls 13-18 division. She shot five-over par 77 for the final round.

Brenna Miller of the Myrtle Beach Chapter took second place in this division, finishing at nine-over par 117 overall for the tournament.

Tag Graziano of the Hilton Head Chapter was crowned champion of the boys 13-14 division finishing at five-over par 113 overall. Graziano shot five-over par 77 in the final round.

Aiden Aguilar of the Myrtle Beach Chapter posted six-over par 114 overall to claim second in this division.

In the boys 15-18 division, Jay Smith and Jack Seward both of the Florence Chapter were forced into a sudden death playoff, each posting one-over par 145 overall. Making par on the fourth playoff hole, Smith secured the first-place victory, and Seward took second. 

Seven chapters in the SCJGA’s Hootie & the Blowfish Junior Golf Series are represented at the Tommy Cuthbert All Stars Championship: Beaufort, Columbia, Florence, Hilton Head, Mid State, Mt. Pleasant and Myrtle Beach.

The Tommy Cuthbert All Star Championship recognizes the top players from the Hootie and the Blowfish Chapter Series. Tommy Cuthbert was the longtime Director of Golf at Kiawah Island and a very strong supporter of junior golf and the SCJGA!
