Nicholas Gross of Downingtown, PA, posted four-under par 67 for round two to remain at the top of the leaderboard. He is 13-under par 129 overall.

“I didn’t get off to as fast of a start as I did yesterday,” said Gross. “I hit a good shot on 12 and then birdied 15, a par five, which is kind of a must. I got a bonus on 16 which was nice, but then the wind started to pick up on the front, so it got kind of dicey. I am just going to take it one shot at a time and have fun like I have been. I’m just going to keep the same game plan and see what happens.”

William Jennings of Greenville sits two-shots behind Gross at 11-under par 131 for the tournament. Jennings carded five-under par 66 for round two to hold second.

Zach Adams of Charleston fought his way atop the leaderboard finishing the day at six-under par 65 to hold third. Overall, he is seven-under par 135.

Morgan Ketchum of Winston Salem continues to lead the girl’s division posting one-under par 71 for round two. Overall, she is eight-under par 136 for the tournament.

“I hit a few more wayward shots today which kind of put me in some unlucky lies,” Ketchum said. “I just had to get myself out of those and minimize the strokes I took and then capitalize when I could and make good shots. I am just going to play smart and take it one shot at a time tomorrow.”

Kiera Bartholomew of Wake Forest is seven-under par 137 for the tournament and sits in second place alone heading into the final round.

Macy Pate of Winston Salem stands solo third at six-under par 138 overall.
